Concept
Dear Teachers/ Colleagues/ Students/ Partners/
As you know, the Foundation Archaeus emerged as a necessity in the development of students' creative practice and work directly in the experiment by hand
with materials (especially natural ones) were vital.
From 2010 to Sky Hill Nera - Beuşniţa Reserve Foundation has invited various related fields, on specific topics with the students develop projects or themes that are available, then in practice. In 2011 this action has taken an international dimension (having invited students and teachers from abroad) and the 2012 Foundation Archaeus offered scholarships to three students by the action of Sky Sailing / Ionian SEA, the first private organization (in Romania) that supports excellence for architecture students.

Architecture, Art, Film, Photo, Graphics, Dance, Design, Music, Director, Clothing...
Among the invited -
Juri Troy (AU) - is back for a workshop on conceptual architecture in which energy plays an important role,
Cristi Puiu (RO) - comes to Sky Hill for us to talk about the art of film,
Carmen Bianca (IT) and Razvan Marchis (RO) will lead a workshop on image,
Catalin Milea (NL) and Sian Brie (RO) we will introduce the theory of musical rhythm.... and not only,
Filippo Cima (IT), about car design - concepts and techniques work,
Ovidiu MICSA will experiment with new concepts argentic photography and darkroom,
The architecture will be discussed and conceptualized by Dorin Stefan Adam and Madalina Iftimi / MANADELUCRU (RO), Oana Coarfă / REPUBLIC OF ARCHITECTS (RO), Claudiu Toma / PARASITESTUDIO (RO) ....
Pierre Bortnowski (RO) will hold a course - obvious practical - about clay-based plasters...
Traditionally we reopen the project development workshop (Terrace Cottage teachers , Oven cover, Interior box ... etc) with the launch of new themes .... ''Le chef '', confirmed his participation ... and comes with
new recipes ... especially cooked in the oven we built last year.
During the evening, around the fire or in the conference room , we will discuss the concepts problem... and beyond.
The floating club reopens on July 28.... And accepts new members ... :)

We ask those wishing to apply to e-mail - office@studioarchaeus.ro, 24.00 until June 24 (inclusive).
The application consists of sending the e-mail address is stated above, the 3/trei files as follows:
1 - Letter of Intent
This will be written in the half row and the Arial 11, no more than 1000 characters
and summarize the motivation to want to participate in Sky Hill 2013.
2 - Curriculum vitae
Maximum two pages, Arial 11 photo size 3x5 cm in the upper left corner. Do not accept CV in European format. It will be customized by the applicant and shall include all necessary data including contacts / address, phone number and email address.
3 - Personal Review
The applicant will perform (technical choice) a poster A4 (vertical) will present the best project summary (representative) made in the last two years (or two semesters for students in first year).
For a project team can make applications with a number of bills equal to the number of applicants in team obviously detailing the same project ... (for where a team of four students worked in a contest and the two of them want to apply, can achieve the same project two A4 obviously different dates thereof)
Title and name of the applicant (including coordinating teacher's name)
will be written in Arial 12 bold at the top of the poster.

CAUTION! Any application outside the rules described above may decide to exclude from the selection.
Selection criteria -
a) The quality and creativity of approach and content of the poster,
b) Strength of motivation letter of intent,
c) The quality of CV, not by the amount of shares
English is required to communicate with teachers invited.
Fee subscribe (25 euro) and the amount needed for the table (approx. 30 RON (7 euro) / day - 3 meals) will be ready for July 26 (not before), 2013.
Any financing such sponsorship or endorsement contracts possible, firms will be placed on posters supporting the Foundation, its website and exhibition Archaeus Foundation in October 2013 at the Palace Ghika at Bucarest.
IMPORTANT!! We do not accept provisional participation.
For participation only on weekends organizer will contact you by mail, by 20 July 2013 to receive in writing the conditions of participation. Without this it is not possible to participate to the OVERNIGHT actions from Sky Hill 2013. Participation in workshops are subject to number of participants for each guest individually.

Selection will take place on 25 and 26 June, the final list will be published no later than 27 June 2013. The dam , in the event of equal scores, will be done by drawing lots by the organizers.
Because he wants and a homogenization of years of study, it is estimated the number of such places: 5 students the first year, second year 5 students, 7 students third year, 13 students the previous years of study.
Library Sky Hill is still waiting to grow, that's why Please donate a book (really valuable) to their collections.
The library was founded in 2012, participants and guests have free access to the shelves :).
The book (books) donated will write - “For Library Sky Hill from .......... from 2013”.
(The new library has already donated more than 150 books, magazines / catalogs of architecture).
